When it comes to Tennis, no other tournament is better than Wimbledon, and this year it had everything. Of cause there was the amazing tennis, but there was also all that drama, from the first few days, top players falling and new names that many hadn’t ever heard of, were constantly on the tip of everyone’s tongue. And to make it even more amazing Andy Murray becomes the new name added to the “Wall of Champions”.
But, I couldn’t help but notice that many of the Celebrities that were in the crowd to watch these amazing matches, were looking pretty great themselves.
So what better way to pay tribute to the great Tournament, then to have a look at Wimbledon Fashion Week:
How could we have a Fashion Week, without Victoria Beckham? Mrs Beckham can do no wrong in my fashion eyes; she was at the Great Final, wearing this Louis Vuitton Black Lace Dress. I have to admit that on the TV, it really did look like a Slip Dress, thank goodness it wasn’t. But this Lace Dress, looks simple are elegant. Have a closer look at the picture before you complete judge her.
Love Mo Farrah, and we can’t forget the amazing achievements that happened last year at the Olympics. But how great does he look in this suit. I’m very sure that this is a tailored suit, but can’t help but love him whenever he does the “mobot”
But love, love, love that not only did we get to see Mo Farrah to do the “mobot”, but the equally dapper Bruce Forsyth too. I’m in “mobot heaven”.
You could not get more casual Wimbledon modèles chics than models Naomi Campbell, Erin O’Connor and Caroline Winberg. I’m already trying to find the clothes, shoes and the jackets to add to my collection.
My new favourite Doubles Team. While watching the Finals from behind my hands, the few seconds that the camera was on Gerard Butler and Bradley Cooper made for brilliant TV viewing, plus they looked amazing in these suits. Also, the award for beat reaction when Murray finally won Championship Point doesn’t go to Murray’s mom, but to Gerard Butler. Youtube it if you can, its brilliant!
Just because he is brilliant, I have no shame in saying I love this man. Michael McIntyre is one of the best comedians, love him even more knowing that he is a Tennis Fan.
Love Minnie Driver’s simple and classic outfit, it is very Wimbledon Chic. Especially love the shoes and the bag, even the hat (which may have been free for celebrities) works.
The Saturday Night Power Couple that isn’t Ant & Dec, stand out from the other celebrities that surround them. Tess’ dress is lovely, but out of this power couple Vernon’s outfit stands out more for me, the colour, the shirt and the tie, l love it all.
We can’t have Wimbledon without a Middleton, and since we are still waiting for the Royal Baby to come, Pippa Middleton was able to provide a bit of Royal Wimbledon glamour. Can’t help but think of Strawberries and Cream when I see this dress, then man on her arm isn’t bad either.
I doubt that even Federer himself would be able to achieve this, playing a bit of Tennis (ok it is Table Tennis). He will easily get the #1 with this beautiful suit; notice that he keeps his eyes on the ball. Maybe he can play Andy Murray in the film.
Along with Mo Farrah, my second favourite at the Olympics was Greg Rutherford, I will never forget that super-day when Mo Farrah, Jessica Ennis and Greg Rutherford all were able to get Gold Medal. Which seemed to have given Murray that extra boost for his own Gold in that tennis match. Once again he has achieved great things with this outfit, very Wimbledon Chic, love the tie.
How Jude Law managed to look and stay so cool in this three-piece suit, during the hottest week of the year was astonishing. But no one else looks cooler, if I didn’t love the suits that Bradley Cooper and Gerard Butler was wearing, I could have easily have said that the best dressed during Wimbledon was Jude Law, but that goes to another.
The only man . . . sorry. . . Superman, on this list that isn’t wearing a suit. And he still looks good. I don’t think I need to say anymore.
This beats the lead Ladies best dress at Wimbledon contender that was Victoria Beckham, hands down. This may not be the most stunning colourful outfit. But I love the simply and classic of it, Katherine Jenkins could wear his outfit every year and I would still love it.
Admit it, I wasn’t the only person who though that her hair is amazing! Who else could have been the best dressed other than Kim Sears, I love, love, Love this dress, the colours is brilliant and it looks like it could be dressed up or down. As soon as I am done with this post, I will try to find where this dress is sold and will make it my mission to find it and buy it, credit card be damned!
